Patrick Rodenbush is a communications advisor and founder of PR Strategic Consulting (PRSC), a Washington, D.C.–based firm that helps leaders and organizations craft clear, credible, and effective communications.
With more than fifteen years of experience at the highest levels of government and national politics, he helps clients define their purpose, build trust with their audience, and communicate with discipline and confidence.
Experience
Patrick has held senior communications roles at the White House, serving as Assistant Press Secretary for President Obama and Special Assistant to the President with the Domestic Policy Council for President Biden.
In addition to his White House service, he has advised cabinet secretaries, executives, and international leaders—leading messaging and media strategy for prominent institutions, non-profits, and international organizations. Earlier in his career, he worked in public affairs at the U.S. Department of Justice, in the United States Senate, and on national political campaigns.
Across these roles, Patrick has shaped narratives, led media relations, written speeches, and prepared officials and surrogates for congressional testimony and media interviews. He has managed issues requiring nuance, discretion, and precision—providing leaders with steady counsel and sound judgment to communicate with clarity and conviction.
A native of Massachusetts, Patrick lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife and two children.
